AoC: Solo Kylikki by Mads Vangsoe

Add comment August 7th, 2008 03:58am aoc gold

This is a rather complicated and long exploit which allows you to kill Kylikki either solo, or in a small group for easy Tier 1 epics. A Tempest of Set is needed for groups (will be explained later), otherwise rogues with the feat Cheat the Reaper can solo her.

As you enter Kylikki’s Crypt (located in North-East Field of the Dead) you need to walk through the wall to your left. This is easily achieved if you have more than one person. While you are stealthed next to the wall, have someone stand behind you, and when you unstealth, you should get pushed through the wall - this may take a few attempts to achieve.

If you are soloing (or happen to be the last person in the group), you can get through the wall by yourself by spamming jump at certain locations (corners) in the wall - this takes time to master, but is easy once you manage it a few times.

When you walk through the wall, keep going until you fall "through the world", and die below the instance. Here is where a Tempest of Set is needed - have him apply Spark of Set on himself before he walks through, and then self-res when he hits the bottom, and then ressurect the group.

End Of Week 7-20-08 Review by mmOverload:Age of Conan

Add comment August 7th, 2008 03:53am aoc gold

Age of Conan seems to be going through a lot of changes very quickly. Although this may sound like a good thing, it actually seems to be causing more problems then it solves. There is still no constructive PvP system in place, the raid instances still crash, etca€| I did look at the upcoming patch notes and there will be a few PvP related items put in the game, however the actual system will still be absent in Age of Conan.
My Demonologist in Age of Conan hit 50 and I will continue to level it followed by the Necro, which I just ran through Tortage so she is lvl 19. My Barb is still sitting at level 20, since no one is really asking for a level 20-30 guide, I will leave him there unless a request is made.

In the upcoming week my guild will again continue to try and make it through the raid instances before they crash. I will be putting the finishing touches on the Atzela€?s guide, and try to figure out if it is even worth the run through.

Getting Gold in AOC - My Experience

Add comment August 4th, 2008 11:08pm aoc gold

The deeper I have delved in aoc the more I have found my need for gold growing every single day. Like an alcoholic with a sniff of rum on my lips I have wanted more. Yet early on, a sniff was all my best efforts could acquire. Without gold, it is tough to play the game. You find yourself getting ganked by richer players. This results in what I have noticed which is many disgruntled Age of Conan players emerging in forums frustrated with the Aoc gold economy (or lack of).

The growing trend that is emerging for successful players are gold guides. But what Is revealed in a gold guide? The guide I have has uncovered many powerful tools on trading, crafting, and gathering gold that I never knew existed in my wildest dreams. I wish that I had known all this valuable information sooner as it would have saved me a lot of sniffing and licking my lips, scrounging for that last measly piece of silver.

So… Why consider buying an aoc Gold Guide? By learning real methods that professional gamers use that do not involve bots and hacks, you will not only save a lot of time but you will also not have to spend insane amounts of money buying gold from Chinese farmers that heavily overprice their gold to as much as .99 a piece!

AOC Gold Server Domination

Add comment August 1st, 2008 04:56am aoc gold

AOC otherwise known as the Age of Conan is without doubt the biggest MMORPG game currently online. There have been over 1 million units of this game sold worldwide and the fever has not subsided with thousands of copies being sold daily and much like WOW, people soon discovered that the people who controlled the gold had a lot of influence in the game. In fact the Age of Conan has been labeled as a ‘gold sellers dream’ as players realize that they can quickly get their guilds into position of power as long as they have enough gold to equip their characters.

But hang on; think about it, an average AOC player may get around 10g an hour. Chinese farmers play around 12 hours a day and yet they are able to horde massive amounts of gold in the hundreds often and then there are those who aren’t farmers and yet they too are able to control massive amounts of gold so there must be a secret, right?

Age of Conan Gold - MMORPG

Add comment August 1st, 2008 04:54am aoc gold

Just like World of Warcraft, Age of Conan is a MMORPG. It is an abbreviation for Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game. There are many MMORPG games out there but Age of Conan remains to be one of the better and preferred ones. Before starting the game, players of Age of Conan will have to select or create characters to represent themselves or a part of themselves before they can play the game. Players create characters by creating a user account from an online server. This particular character will only be usually for that particular server. It can be said that Age of Conan characters are not transferable. The good news is Funcom is devising of ways to have a server transfer for characters.

For those who do not have any idea, don’t take the Age of Conan literally. It is a game and not somebody’s age. Age of Conan is a fantasy game that is set in the Hyborian age in the different Hyborian kingdoms. Don’t search for your history books about this though because Robert E. Howard created this fantasy setting. Age of Conan has a ‘real combat’ system, meaning you will expect more blood shed and action in this game.

age of conan Community: aoc

Add comment August 1st, 2008 04:45am aoc gold

Due to the game being in rumored development since 2003, an online virtual community had steadily clustered around various fan websites regarding Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. By February 2005, this informal community was still going strong despite no true public announcement concerning the rumored game. Finally, Funcom and Conan Properties LLC jointly confirmed the in-development status of Age of Conan in an official press release on April 20, 2005. Shortly thereafter, a primitive game website debuted and thousands of Conan enthusiasts migrated from their fan sites to the new official forums hosted by Funcom. Many Anarchy Online fans also followed the development of the product due to the involvement of Funcom, who created the Anarchy Online PC series.

Between March 2005 and January 2006, Funcom periodically revealed concept art and screenshots from aoc. The Art Director for the Conan project is Didrik Tollefsen, known for such classics as The Longest Journey and Anarchy Online - Shadowlands, which won the Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction award at RPG Vault in 2003.

On January 24, 2006, Funcom unveiled the community portal for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. By this time, much of the pre-launch community had gathered around the forums and IRC chat of the official Age of Conan website. There were informal events such as IRC chats with the developers and, in summer 2006, community contests.

In April 2006, Funcom created a Guild Hall for its pre-launch community and, within hours, forum members began organizing their "player guilds." These guilds consist of individuals who typically share the same playing styles and gameplay opinions. In January 2007, several important updates were announced regarding class merges and the expected launch window for the game. On January 12th, Funcom announced the original twenty-three classes had been merged down to fourteen classes due to beta feedback.

On April 3, 2007, Funcom began its Beta Sign-Up program which attracted more than 100,000 gamers over the Easter holiday.Shortly thereafter, the "technical beta" phase began on April 27, 2007, and several hundred individuals from the Age of Conan online community began formal testing.

On January 14, 2008, despite earlier comments to the contrary, Pharamond posted on the official forums that there will be an Open Beta, with more details to be announced closer to release date.

On February 7, 2008, Funcom and Eidos announced that over 500,000 people had signed up for the Beta Testing of Age of Conan.

On May 19, 2008, GameZone.com presents a series of original fictional stories by Michael Lafferty stemming from the massively multiplayer online world of aoc- Hyborian Adventures. The stories are written with the permission and cooperation of Funcom. The tales deal with the world, the characters and the lore involved in Hyboria.

"We are very pleased with the reception AOC has had in retail and we naturally hope that the early interest and our early access programs will materialize in an eventual success," said Morten Larssen, VP Sales and Marketing of Funcom. "The positive indications are naturally an honour, but they also bring a great responsibility. As we prepare the roll-out, we know our servers will be put to the test. We therefore hope potential players will aid us by signaling their interest as soon as possible so we can scale our servers and services accordingly."

What AOC Guides Wont Tell You - The AoC Game and Guide Review That Brings it All Together

Add comment August 1st, 2008 04:30am aoc gold

In search of an action oriented game with a faster speed of combat plus spell casting and the like? Then what you are looking for would be the Age of Conan game. In the said game, you have three attacks to choose from: right, overhead, and the left attack. You may use only one of these attacks to hurt your enemy but if you want your target to be dead faster, string them together to produce combo attacks that are definitely damaging. Another great thing about the Age of Conan game is that you can fight a group of foes all at the same time because of the splash damage effect produced by the weapon. With the said game, you can do away with the normal one-on-one battles you got used to with other games.

The aoc is one of the very few MMO games that would really capture the hearts of fans of action gaming as it is all action with no time to just wait and sit around in one corner. Aside from fighting against mobs which would really excite the player, there are also maneuvers that can be used in order to dodge enemy attacks.

If you are afraid that it wouldn’t be easy to learn playing the aoc, then you should know that its very friendly user interface would have you playing the fast paced combat way in no time. You also would have full control of the options and you can definitely customize controls to your advantage.

End of Week Review-Age of Conan Exploits

Add comment July 29th, 2008 10:09pm aoc gold

This week I got the DT to 79, and we did quite a bit of city building. One part of the game I am not focusing on (right now) is crafting, this is due to many reasons. The Devs have a lot of fixes to implement as well as the fact that my guild already has a lot of crafters in it.

AOC has a very tight coin system in play, even at level 70+ you will not be flowing with coin. From level 1 to 79 I made less then 20 gold, it is true however that at 70+ the coin does start to come a little easier. Most 70-80 level items sell for 20-30 copper to a merchant. Because the game is now in a state of power leveling, there are tons of loot bags left all over the high level zones, as people are trying to get to the higher levels quickly. (Free loot for all if you want to pick them up)

In the next week I will be working on a review of the DT with all feats reviewed/discussed. I will also be leveling the POM. As most players know your first character to cap is the slowest. (I expect the leveling time with the POM to be less then half of the DT) In the coming week I will also be working on a leveling guide, although from 50-80 the power leveling guide that I already posted will out run anything you can do solo, even if you are one of the over powered classes.

AOC Guide - Sneak Peek at Upcoming PVP - Many Concerns

Add comment July 29th, 2008 10:07pm aoc gold

Check out the official Age of Conan webpage for future content info that is going into AOC

While most of it seems to be coming along with good intentions, the info that I have on the upcoming PvP risk/reward system may cause more problems then it fixes. Basically a "fugitive" system will be in place. This system will give people that Gank players many levels lower them some penalty points. After you obtain so many penalty points, other players will have an incentive to kill you. What is the incentive? How about one of your equipped items! Of course other incentives may be implemented as well, and for this article, the incentives are meaningless.

So what is the problem? The problem is that this has already been attempted in many MMO’s before. You will always have kiddies that will try and exploit the system. If you get a penalty for killing lobbies, what if the lobie hits you first? What if the lobie is an app’ed member of an enemy group? What if the lobie is and un-app’ed member of the enemy group? As is stands now, a group of six level 40 players can easily kill a level 60 player, how will you figure the penalty in this example? Will it not then be beneficial for a group of six level 40’s to go around and intentional hunt level 50 - 60 characters?(Hoping that the level 50 - 60 character will simply try to run so that they don’t get any penalty points.) Should I not worry? Do you have an answer for all of these questions? O.K. I will give you an example that you cannot fix:

Let us take six level 80’s from guild "A" and put them up against six level 80’s from guild "B". However guild "B" has another guild member come with, un-grouped and un-raided. The level of this guild member is 30 and he does nothing more then stand in the middle of the "B" group. The level 30 does nothing, no attacks, no heals, absolutely nothing. Since AOE is so common in this game the level 30 player will die numerous times. (We have all ran by a fight and took a little unintentional damage before, If you are on a PvP server) So the death of one level 30 is not that big of a penalty, how about a group of six level 30 characters to stand in the middle of group "B"? Of course take off all gear and all buffs so that they die the in the quickest manner, after they die they move as fast as possible back to the battle area, most likely with only about half health since they did not heal or rest. Then they die again and again giving group "A" a huge amount of penalty points for killing lobbies.
